Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has been quiet recently, but she has reemerged to comment on the politics of Britain, one of the United States’ leading allies.
“Britain is a lovely place,” said Palin, who recently returned from a trip to the United Kingdom where she met members of the royal family.
Palin, who was Sen. John McCain’s running mate in 2008, was believed to have traveled to Britain to escape media scrutiny after her daughter, Bristol, recently became pregnant with her second out-of-wedlock child.
“I was particularly impressed with Prince William. I also met his wife, Empress Kate, and their young children,” Palin said. “I think he’ll do a great job running the government as president of Britian.”
