Former presidential candidate Herman Cain says he is considering running again. Cain, who failed to win the Republican nomination in 2012, says he is not impressed with the current crop of GOP candidates.

“I don’t see a true conservative among them,” said Cain, who has never won a political election. “Also, the candidates lack diversity.”

The 17 GOP candidates include one black man, Dr. Ben Carson, two Latinos, Senators Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio, and a white woman, Carly Fiorina.

Cain said he has been motivated to get into the race by the tremendous support he received last time he ran.

“I’m still getting emails and calls urging me to run again,” Cain said. “I still have a large network of supporters.”

Bo Wilson, a Cain supporter from Atlanta, Ga., said he was urging Cain to run again.

“Cain could have won if the liberal media had not made up these stories about him,” Wilson said. “We need a true real Black American, one who’s descended from slaves, not Obama, a Kenyan impostor.”

Wilson also said Cain had gained valuable experience during his first run.

“Herman has the right combination of business and political skills to make him a formidable candidate,” Wilson said. “Herman has conservative business principles and conservative moral principles. He has been married for more than 40 years.”

In 2012, Cain ended his campaign after Sharon Bialek came forward and claimed he sexually harassed her. Another woman, Ginger White, said she had been Cain’s mistress for 13 years.
